PRELIMINARY

ACTIVE MONITORS ECView Pro provides built-in predefined Active Monitors that you can assign

to a device, or on device interfaces, and view real-time values of the

monitors, which are represented with dynamic line graphs. ECView Pro can

also access RMON (Remote Monitoring) probes embedded in network

devices to perform traffic analysis, troubleshoot network problems,

evaluate historical trends, or implement proactive management policies.

EVENT VIEWER ECView Pro serves as a central hub for all trap events. It can display all

gathered device traps, NMS events, and network events collected by the

built-in trap receiver (called the Event Manager Engine).

ECView Pro also includes a powerful filtering system that helps you find,

sort, and work with the large number of various trap events received.
